Our Story

Luxury Mountain Vacation Rentals was established in 20010 as a boutique, on-mountain management company. With over 40 years of combined hospitality experience, our background in service, operations, finance and vacation rental management forms the way we run our business today.

After more than two decades working in Vancouver in hospitality, banking, and finance, we chose to build our company at Big White—a place deeply familiar to our family and close to our roots. Having operated continuously at the resort for over 16 years, we have developed long-standing relationships with owners, trades, suppliers, and repeat guests—many of whom have been with us since our early years.

Our history at the resort provides stability, credibility, and institutional knowledge that newer or remote operators simply cannot replicate.

A Select Portfolio, Not a Volume Model

We currently manage approximately 50 properties and continue to grow thoughtfully. Our objective is not to become a 100+ unit management company. We intentionally maintain a curated portfolio to ensure personalized service, detailed oversight, and strategic revenue management for each home.

As our name suggests, we represent properties that align with a luxury standard. We are selective in onboarding new homes, ensuring each property complements our brand and meets the expectations of our global clientele.

LMVR looks after attracting guests to your listing through numerous marketing portals. We have two dedicated websites, online marketing & SEO, print advertising and 3rd party referral marketing with numerous partnerships including Big White Ski Resort.

Hot Tubs & Subcontracted Trades

We have partnerships with on-the-mountain service providers to service our owners’ properties and guests.
